Are You Expecting?

Congratulations! 🎉

Are you expecting? Welcome expecting parents to Koala Pediatrics

Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is a wonderful experience and truly a gift. Along with the beauty and joy of pregnancy, delivery and then coming home, there are bound to be times when you have questions about how to care for your baby and family. We are here for you and your family.

We are excited and honored that you are considering us for your child's care. It is always special for us to be invited by new parents to join in the care of a family member. The continuity of care and the amazement of watching a baby grow and develop into a wonderful child is one of the primary reasons that we all feel privileged to work in pediatrics.

Learn More About Our Practice

Meet and Greet appointments are a great way for prospective parents and new patients to ask questions, see how we work, and meet Dr. Priyanka Kawali. We want to help you make the best decision for your family.

We schedule 15-minute complimentary meet and greet virtual appointments for expectant mothers. This allows you to get to know Dr. Kawali and ask questions about our practice before your baby arrives.

🏥 First Appointment

At least a few weeks before your anticipated delivery, please contact our office to let us know you are expecting. When the happy day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen Dr. Priyanka Kawali at Koala Pediatrics as your pediatrician.

Your discharge paperwork will be sent to us via the hospital, but it is always recommended that you bring your personal copies with you to your first appointment for review in case the hospital records were not received.

Contact us before delivery:

  • Call (206) 761-4985 or email office@koalapeds.com
  • Let us know your expected due date
  • Inform the hospital that Dr. Kawali is your chosen pediatrician
